Jose is for sure one of the best realtors Houston has. His support, availability, transparency and knowledge were key in order to succeed and perform a great deal. Jose guided me throughout my first house purchase and turned it into a stress-free and fun experience! Here’s how I came across Jose. I had some friends who had decent and not so great experiences with realtors they found on their own. So I asked a dear friend of mine I trusted who has been in this line of work for many years to recommend me a realtor to help me buy an investment property in the medical center. I asked to help me bypass all the research and give me one name and it had to be the best of the best. That’s how I met Jose Alves! He truly has been a blessing. Great at what he does. I ended up with a great investment home. He definitely protected my interests and negotiated effectively! He is very knowledgeable about housing market and could always tell me whether an option was worth pursuing. His negotiating technical are unorthodox and definitely work! He sure is not afraid to bargain or make a bold offer.’ Reliable: He was and still is (a month after the purchase) readily available via text, call, email. That’s some dedication! He is incredibly easy to talk to, authentic and genuine. My schedule is tricky with constantly changing days off, long days and early starts (I would text him at 4 am). He worked with me and always found time that was convenient for me. Expert: The reality is that it is difficult and inefficient to try to become an expert in the field that people spend years researching, perfecting. You gotta find the person who knows the market today and can somewhat predict tomorrow, knows strengths and weaknesses of the area. I think Jose is an expert in all of those areas for properties in the medical center. Objective: I sometimes caught myself being hung up on things and loosing objectivity. I would just be overlooking a property over minor flaws and almost talking myself into buying something totally overpriced and maxing my budget out just because I liked some aspects that would actually not matter in the long run. Jose Alves was great from the beginning to the final closing and we couldn't be happier with our home purchase experience. He helped us finding the house of our dreams and was always available to answer our questions even during the weekends and after commercial hours. He explained each step of the house buying process in detail, which gave us confidence in what we were doing. Jose has an extensive knowledge about the Houston market and helped us in the negotiation of the purchase. He uses helpful analysis tools to calculate the fair market value of the targeted house by comparing with similar homes in the same region. He is also very charismatic and will make you feel comfortable in the sometimes overwhelming process of buying a house. We will definitely recommend his services to our friends who are willing to buy/sell a house!

Jose is a very honest, knowledgeable and hard working realtor. He was respectful to my decisions and always gave advice that was best to my interest. He reached out to many people in the market and in 3 days I accepted an offer. I highly recommend him and would use him in the future.
