Geri attended J. Frank Dobie High School and earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Houston. When not working, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. Geri takes advantage of the plentiful array of outdoor activities on clear lake and Galveston's beaches.

While she spent most of her life growing up in Friendswood, she also spent much of her time in many parts of the Houston metro area. Raised in Baytown, TX, Libby was born with an imagination and ideas as big as her beloved home state. After moving to Houston to attend college, she worked in sales and marketing which led to a career with Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, where her love of all things event planning, travel, dining and, most importantly, people thrived.

Libby and her spouse, Lauren Taft, moved to Seabrook, TX in in the spring of 2021, where they are enjoying a slower pace of life on the water with their standard poodle, Axel. They are members of Lakewood Yacht Club and longtime advisory board members of Dress for Success Houston.
