Racism! I was helping an African American male search for a property priced $750k and above. The owners/investors who personally showed us properties were very racist and even implied that the gentleman could not afford the property and should choose another area. It was mentioned that they didn\'t feel the neighbors would approve of the new buyer. I spoke with the listing agents and one broker about the problem and their client\'s comments. Nothing was done about any of it and the licensees just brushed it off! It was so discouraging that the client decided not to buy in Houston!
