Julie Swearingen has been helping buyers and sellers in the Houston area with their real estate needs since 1987. A resident of Houston since 1969, she is certified in Referral and Relocation by the Women’s Council of Realtors, holds the Graduate Realtor® Institute (GRI) designation, the Certified Home Marketing Specialist designation (CHMS), and is a Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE).

Her desire for knowledge and her commitment to quality service have been the formula for Julie’s success. “Maintaining an edge through continued professional development is critical in our industry. I work hard to stay abreast of important issues and changes, and put that knowledge to work to make each transaction as trouble-free as possible for my clients,” she says. “The most satisfying part of my job is when I know I’ve made a positive difference in a buyer’s or seller’s experience. My goal is to form a life-long professional relationship with each one of my clients.”

Julie is a marketing specialist and has spent a significant part of her real estate carreer assisting in developing marketing materials. She’s done freelance writing and editing in the real estate arena, as well as on a variety of business and lifestyle topics. A grandmother of five, Julie is particularly passionate about children’s issues, and has worked in the courts in her volunteer role of Court Appointed Child Advocate for Child Advocates, Inc. She is also a passionate animal lover and animal advocate.
