After competing in the grueling Ironman North American
Championships, Koh invited his Japanese and Australian friends to
Clear Lake for some rest and relaxation. A small BBQ on the back of
our boat while anchored in a small cove made for a perfect afternoon.
After that, we went for dessert on the back deck of Villa Capri on
NASA Rd 1. Taro Shirato finished 8th in his category, not quite good
enough to qualify for the world championships but we are still
extremely proud he finished under 10 hours. Amazing time of 9 hours
51 minutes and 22 seconds. Otsukaresame deshita!
