If you are considering protesting your property taxes, be sure to file a protest before the May 15th deadline.

Protesting is what help keeps your taxes low. You can protest yourself (with the help of a real estate agent, me!) or you can hire a company to do it for you. If you do it yourself you will need to provide comparatives for your home and try to make a case why your property value should be lower. Feel free to ask me for comparatives and I will be happy to provide them. If you have any questions about the process, always reach out! Click here that provides more information about property tax assessment.
