Currently, there are just a few remaining inventory homes left in the community and it is already selling out quickly. In response to a high demand, Houston-based Johnson Development Corp., acquired 630 more acres for the community last year, increasing the 1,300-acre agrihood by nearly 50%. As a result of this extension, the community will add approximately 1,400 new homes, plus more parks, trails, green space, and a pool.

The builders will begin selling homes on the first phase of a 630-acre expansion of the community this fall. The lots will include 452 homesites, and the first could be released as early as September, with all expected to be delivered by December.

Home buyers will have the option to choose from several different home designs, situated on lots that range in width from 40 feet to 75 feet. Here are the choices.

Coventry - 55 t - 75 ft
David Weekley - 45 ft - 65 ft
D.R. Horton - 50 ft lots
Highland - 40 ft - 65 ft
Lennar - 55 ft
Newmark - 50 ft
Perry - 45 ft - 60 ft
Tri Pointe - 40 ft - 75 ft
Westin- 60 ft

In addition to the new homes, the new acreage at Harvest Green will also include parks, trails and a swimming pool. The residents of Harvest Green will also have access to Harvest Greens existing amenities such as the Village Farm which has fields of produce, an orchard, vineyard, as well as goat and chicken pens. In addition, local residents can reserve a plot on the farm to grow their own produce or purchase fresh vegetables at a farmers market.
There is also a Farmhouse recreation complex nearby, with a fitness center, resort-style pool, trails and parks for residents to enjoy. In addition, Messina Hof Harvest Green Winery & Kitchen is located on site.
