I know a number of folks that had a great experience with 2 - 10 HBW. Morgan Waters-Lofthouse has been helpful to me in the past with answering questions and setting clients up. Here is her contact info: (832) 654-4198 or mwaterslofthouse@2-10.com
It is best to research the various companies and their plans with reading the fine details of what is covered and what is not. Some have been around a long time and have established reputations, others are newer and are trying to be competitive with coverages. Personally, I like 2-10 Homebuyers Warranty, Old Republic Home Warranty, Super and HWA - each of them is different in what they offer. Buyers like to know what coverages are offered and what the co-pay and maximum coverages are. So it’s good to have at least 2-4 to recommend to your buyers, so it would be a good idea to meet with a variety to have those resources to share!
I recommend Laurie Bowman with First American Home Warranty 832-452-1212. She is great, local, and if client needs help get her involved for faster service.
I've used First American Home warranty for 18 years and have ad very good experiences. Over the years they have repaired or replaced all my appliances, several pool motors, pumps and filters. They have also repaired my AC system.
Old Republic has been good on most claims for us my rep is Cindy Benn 713-299-9046 for Katy area. Avoid Choice warranty had problems with customer service and denying of claims. They cover water water heater tank but don't cover against leaks !!
If you are in the Houston/Galveston County areas, I highly recommend First American Home Warranty. My Clients have all received great service and repairs by them.
