My Husband and I are looking at a home that is only a year old and are trying to figure out how to save as much cost up front as possible. Is it okay to avoid inspection since the house is only a year old?

Ana, great question, with a simple answer! YES, most definitely! I would and will always recommend an inspection of any home anyone is looking to purchase. You just never know what could be wrong with a home EVEN if it is close to brand new. What if something is wrong with the roof, or the A/C, or the foundation? These are some potential "big ticket" items that the untrained person may not be able to detect issues with when just simply looking at them. If you would like further insight or an inspector recommendation, please feel free to reach out to me!
