Courtland Place Historic District homes for sale and rent

Courtland Place, established as an exclusive neighborhood in 1906, is a gated, one-block long, tree-lined boulevard that has been home to some of Houston's most prominent families. Courtland Place's gracious mansions were designed in the popular architectural styles of the period Georgian, Colonial, and Tudor Revival, as well as Mediterranean and Prairie styles. All eighteen original homes, built between 1907 and 1937, are still standing, giving the street a unique early 20th century character. Courtlandt Place is the city's first historic district, designated in 1996, and is also listed in the National Register of Historic Places..
