Houston Is Fall Back Proof

Every year, I look forward to Daylight Savings Time ending. Maybe its because our kids are little, so they wake up pretty early. Maybe its because our school district has them at school at 7:30am and its always nicer when the suns out. Maybe its because I like sitting in my backyard in the evening without the sun beating down on me. Or maybe Im just weird.

So when November 7th, 2021 rolled in, I was READY for the time change! But after looking at my Twitter feed, I felt like the last man on Earth. Apparently, everyone else Ive ever met hates Standard Time. (Yes, Im fully aware that social media is 99% negativity so Twitter isnt the best barometer of how people really feel about the subject)

What I didnt know until this week was that so much of our country lives in the path of darkness! The map Ive attached was sent to me by a former colleague. Its very interesting. If you live in Chicago or Milwaukee, its DARK!!

And most of the reaction came from the good folks of the upper Midwest and New England. Yes, 4pm is pretty early for darkness. But I have a solution for you...move here!

The map dont lie. You wont have to worry about darkness until youre home from your commute!

(The following was NOT paid for by the Houston Chamber of Commerce, but I was still happy to do it) ;)
