Katy is situated just west to Houston in the state of Texas and is at times, considered a suburb of America’s 4th largest city. Though, in every other term but the location, the two cannot be more different. If Katy were to be summed up in one word, it would be – peaceful. The neighborhood, the local community, the general ambiance, the vibe – Katy is serene. Since the population of the city is growing due to an increase in housing, Katy is blooming into a community of racial and ethnic diversity. This factor adds to all elements such as food, local events, and exposure of the locals and lifts up Katy’s perception. In terms of living in Katy, let me tell you this – you will never experience life as you will in Katy. Its safe, beautiful, caters to all your needs, provide you with all the luxuries of life while also promising a better future for your kids and yourself. The educational institutes here, the outdoor activities, and nature; there is nothing not to love about Katy. 

1.      Tuned in with nature Besides Katy, only a few cities can claim to be so in tune with modern life and nature. Beautiful, well-kept parks, mesmerizing ponds, a wide array of trails, wide sidewalks, greenbelts, the very smell of grass, the colorful spring and the rustic autumn – Katy is beautiful.

3.      Compactness Katy isn't a small city but its compact in terms of how close everything to each other. Residential area, industrial area and businesses – though confined to particular districts are still within range of each other, which helps improve the connectivity of the city.

4.      Safety net Katy is one of the safest suburbs of Houston. Most crime; if any, is petty and juvenile and its extremely rare to encounter such a circumstance. An average resident of Katy is a learned, respectable and well-settled individual. Hence, the community itself is safe and the very thought of disturbing this safety is not entertained by the local law-enforcement.

5.      Economic safety After the pandemic, especially, businesses took a hard hit. 6.      The food Everyone loves food; even if you don’t, the food in Katy will make you fall in love with it. Whether you like Thai or your palate is fond of Indian spices, Katy has it all. Moreover, the traditional Texas-style BBQ adds to the charm of Katy and will have you coming back for more. 

7.      The community Southern hospitality? Yes, it still exists in Katy. Qualified doctors, helpful teachers, understanding police officers, inviting neighbors and friendly bank-tellers, Katy is filled with people who will help you succeed and make sure that you're comfortable.

8.      Shopping An upscale shopping experience? Visit LaCenterra or your nearby Villagio. Were you looking for a quaint, little trip to a small shop? Old Katy is home to tons of those. The local department store is never more than a few blocks away. If you’re planning to move to Katy, get ready for a tranquil, elevated living experience. You won’t experience it anywhere else.
