Red, White and Boom is going virtual for 2020! Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there’s a new look and new feel for events this year. Sugar Land’s virtual Fourth of July Celebration will be taking place on Saturday, July 4 at 8 p.m.
The pre-recorded celebration video will feature local residents, businesses and city staff all showcasing community pride before reflecting on footage from past years’ event programming and fireworks finale.
Don’t miss it! Join the Event Page Now: http://www.sugarlandtx.gov/VirtualJuly4
As a community wide initiative, the City is inviting the public to send in short videos capturing individuals/groups reciting the Pledge of Allegiance (American and Texas Pledge).
Videos can be created and sent directly to us via email at parkrec@sugarlandtx.gov on or before June 25. They will be used to create a video collage that will be played on July 4.
If sending in a video, we ask that social distance guidelines be followed on camera by positioning 6 feet apart OR by wearing face coverings. Additionally, we ask for the videos to be landscape format.
Due to the overwhelming response we are now sold out of the Patriotic Take Home Party Packages! Thank you for your kind interest!
Pre-orders will be available for pickup at the Imperial Park Recreation Center (234 Matlage Way) by appointment only from Monday, June 29 through Thursday, July 2 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Want to get your company’s name in front of this diverse community? Customized sponsorships are available. For more information, please contact the Event Production Manager at 281-275-2825.
