As part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, the City of Houston, is offering Rental Assistance for tenants who live within Houston City limits and are experiencing economic hardship as a result of COVID-19.
Funding is limited so act now! Apply on the Rental Assistance website. On Thursday, May 7, landlords began enrolling. The portal will open to tenants beginning at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 13.

Some Program Highlights - Provides up to $1,056 of rental assistance per month to qualified low-to-moderate income people who could not pay their April and/or May rent.
