Summer is over. Now is the time to buy a lakehouse.

One of the most active times of year for recreational home transactions is the fall.  The hustle of kids at home for the summer is over, and parents are settled in to their family routines.  Owners are deciding whether to upgrade, stay, or sell, and young families are looking to buy so they can build their own family memories.

Whether considering buying, or selling, there is homework to do.  A seller needs to make the house ready to market.  Don't cost yourself $30,000 by not preparing.  The buyer also has to market themself, both in a financial manner, and a "Is this person worthy of enjoying the home we made memories in.." sort of way.  The seller often wants to know that their home will be appreciated and enjoyed by the next owner.

Remember that this is supposed to be fun, it is a journey.  Partner with someone who understands you and the market to be your realtor.

It is not just your home, it is an investment.
