Mondays with Marnie Happy New Year!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Yesterday was the first day of 2024 and it is hard to believe that 2023 has come and gone. I do a calendar every year and have a quote for each month. The time to choose the quotes for the following year seems to come so quickly. It always reminds me that the days drag on and the years fly by. Are you a resolution person? Is today the first day of something new for you? I feel like I am always working on the same resolutions comprised of working out more often, eating clean, spending more time off of my phone, etc. Today can be a fresh start toward all of those things with the goal of having more days that I do those things than days that I do not. Wish me luck!

If you are trying to think of a New Years Resolution, I've found the most popular ones for 2024. I found these on a website called thepioneerwoman.com. I like them because some are a little out of the box and great ideas. The linked article lists 70 ideas and these are a few of my favorites.

1. Practice Breathing Exercises

2. Start Your Own Podcast

3. Get a Standing Desk

4. Learn a New Language

5. Call Your Parents or Grandparents More

I wish you success with your New Years goals and look forward to sharing another year with you all.

Happy New Year!
