First America Homes, the homebuilding division of The Signorelli Company, marked a significant milestone with the ribbon-cutting ceremony for eight duplexes in Angel Reach Village, a Conroe development designed to accommodate at-risk youth facing homelessness. The event, held on December 4, celebrated the completion of the project.
Situated within Angel Reach Village, First America Homes' newly constructed duplexes aim to offer shelter and support to 32 individuals aged 16 to 24, who have either aged out of foster care or find themselves in need of housing due to various circumstances. Each duplex comprises two 550-square-foot apartments featuring two bedrooms and one bathroom. Anticipated to welcome its first residents later this month, the project underscores the commitment to providing secure homes for vulnerable youth.
Danny Signorelli, CEO of The Signorelli Company, expressed his dedication to creating better living environments in a press release, stating, "Building better places that enrich lives is what we do, so applying our skills and resources to build safe homes for these young people is an honor." Signorelli extended gratitude to Mayor Jody Czajkoski and Councilmembers Todd Yancey and Curt Maddux for their invaluable support.
The Angel Reach Village initiative not only involves First America Homes but also features contributions from other builders. Grace Point Homes recently completed the construction of five duplexes in the same village, and HomeAid is set to build three more in collaboration with LevelTx.
Apart from offering secure shelter, Angel Reach Village is committed to providing comprehensive support to its residents. This includes behavioral health counseling, life skills classes, and employment resources. Recognizing the collaborative effort required to address youth homelessness, Angel Reach Executive Director Jean Radach expressed gratitude to The Signorelli Company for its significant contributions to the transformative development.
