Home Inspection Spotlight-Plumbing

First Things First

When we first get to a home, we identify where the water meter is and the main shutoff. We let you know where these are because its important to be able to quickly and easily access them in the event of an emergency like say, a pipe busting and its raining inside your home. Making sure the shutoff is easily accessible can help minimize some damage by turning off water to your entire home.

Well also measure your water pressure to ensure its not too low or too high. Water pressure thats too low could indicate that you have a leak or may just not be desirable. Water pressure thats too high can cause damage to your plumbing components and reduce the life of any appliances hooked up to your plumbing system (sinks, water heater, toilets, etc).
