Sugar Land City Council approves lease agreement with Go Ape Brazos River Park LLC

Sugar Land City Council approved a lease agreement with Go Ape Brazos River Park LLC for adventure facilities located on 19 undeveloped acres within Brazos River Park. The Go Ape facility will include ziplines, climbing nets, and a ropes course up in the tree canopy. The activities are geared toward all age groups.

What to expect

There will be very little infrastructure at ground level and no impact to any existing bike trails or any other park amenity. The construction phase of the site is not expected to impact people’s ability to enjoy the park or affect any future development of the park. This public/private partnership is another example of our commitment to completing projects meant to improve the quality of life in Sugar Land and give residents and tourists even more reasons to enjoy our outdoors.

More information on the Go Ape facility is available by watching the video below.
